My story<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I care about the health of all animals, and that does not exclude fish. Fish are amazing creatures when you step back and actually look at them, and they are some of the animals that go through the most abuse of all. Not just tropical fish, but also all salmon and all the ones that are so delicious. Do people not realise, or do they not care? Sadly I beleive it is both. The amount of poisons that are poured into fish tanks per year would be shocking if it were measured, horrible blue liquids that are entierly unnecisary, and would never be found in nature. Fish are all too often taken as stupid animals that don’t have brains, when some of them actually seem quite smart. It’s not for no reason that you have shy fish and friendly fish, and some can be trained to do tricks, swim in cirlces, and many other things that prove their underrated intelegence. I got my first fish only a few years ago, but I have come so far since then, sometimes it amazes me. I have kept so many types, made so many mistakes, and learned the hard way a lot of times. And that is why I decided to build a website, in the hope that you don’t need to make every mistake I did to learn how it really works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naturally healthy fish are not the only animals I care about. All my life I have loved animals, and I don’t think there’s a creature in the world that I hate. I grew up growing rabbits for meat, chickens for eggs, and goats for milk. I love breeding animals for many reasons, not the least of which is that I want to eat meat all of the time. There are so many people who can go to the shop and buy a peice of meat without a second thought as to where it’s come from or what’s happened to it. So if I have a choice I will always butcher my own animals rather than go to the butcher. People say it must be sad to prepair an animal that you have raised, but I always come back with the same answer, which is very simple. The fact is, I’ve grown up with it all my life. I love my animals, and I would never want to hurt them, but the whole reason they were born and bred was so they could feed me. That doesn’t mean I don’t care, no I care a lot and sometimes it does make me a little sad, but that’s just the way it is. I have never taken an animal to the vet, except my dog who I got desexed, but every other time I do what has to be done myself. There have been many wounds in the past that seemed like they may be fatal, but there’s always a simple, natural way to fight off infection and resetore immune strength. I use almost entirely herbs, and yarrow hasn’t failed me yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from my animals, I am also a passionate writer. I have written several novel drafts, which I am editing and hope to eventually publish, though I seem to just keep rewriting them and never be satisfied. I write mostly YA high fantasy and a bit of sci-fi, though I recently started something that could be called urban fantasy. I adore romance, but writing it while keeping things mostly clean can be difficult. There is of course animals in all my books, even if it’s just a dog or a cat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a complete homeschool education, and spent more time playing outside and with the animals than I did doing maths, which for me was winning. I have learned more than anyone else my age about living, and have written because I want to, not because I was forced to. Any information I offer is truly mine, not something I was told in a class.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
